Residential
We offer residential care for up to 8 service users at our large bungalow in Oldbury, West Midlands. The home boasts a large lounge and conservatory for socialising and relaxing, two fully accessible wet rooms, an activity room for recreation and a picturesque garden with a jumbo ball pit and outdoor dining space.
Living at Conway House
Each service user is welcome to bring personal belongings when they move to Conway House and individual bedrooms are decorated to suit the tastes of each occupant. Each room comes furnished with a suitable bed, wardrobe, hand wash sink and television. Four bedrooms feature patio doors which open onto the garden. Service users are encouraged to participate in life skill development; they have access the kitchen with supervision so they are able to participate in preparing meals. Conway House has many pieces of specialist equipment on site to assist individuals with mobility needs.
Visiting Conway House
Visitors are very welcome at Conway House between the hours of 10:00 and 21:00, but it is advisable to telephone first to avoid a journey where the service user may have made prior arrangements. We also operate Protected Mealtimes meaning that we politely request that visitors avoid the hours of 8:00 – 9:30, 12:00 – 13:00 and 17:00 – 18:00 so that the care staff are able to support the service users with their meals without distraction.
We ask that all visitors refrain from visiting the Home if experiencing symptoms of infectious disease, i.e. COVID-19 or Norovirus.

Activities
Both in-house and community activities are provided to service users who reside at Conway House. Service users can enjoy the beautifully maintained garden or take part in arts and crafts in our activity room. Other popular activities include going to local pubs and cafés, playing bingo, trips to farms and zoos, swimming, shopping at Oldbury Retail Park and Merry Hill and going for afternoon tea.
Transport is available for all service users to attend appointments and activities, subject to additional cost.
